A member of the United States Intelligence Community, the DIA is a major producer and manager of foreign military intelligence. The DIA supports U.S. military planning and operations and the acquisition of weapon systems by providing the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community with military intelligence. The DIA has more than 7500 military and civilian employees worldwide.
