Michael Forde, the former Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the District Council of New York City and Vicinity (the “District Council”) of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners (the “Carpenters Union”) and Chairman of the District Council benefit funds, pleaded guilty in Manhattan federal court to participating in a 15-year racketeering scheme.
